So today I watched Nascar and Indycar racing most of the day. Although they were “live” races there were obviously no spectators. It was still nice that Nascar, Indycar, along with other car racing venues are coming back with social distancing enforced keeping drivers and crews safe. The last couple weeks of racing have been very nice to watch versus the news for a change. It is kinda sad however to watch some television reruns of previous years races in motorsports prior to the recent various world events taking place as it makes me realize just how much we’ve lost and how nice it once was going to and/or watching TV motorsports and racing when my grandson could come over and hang out with his ‘ol Grandpa.
