Move Kart Races to Coffee Breaks

The kart races are ridiculous and have no place as an achievement to accomplish a series according to licenses. These races are essentially an after thought and have no bearing on the rest of the game and should be reduced into their own special events that do not have an outcome that affects the percentage of the game finished.
Many would probably be fine with taking them out completely...
 
Kart races are completely relevant. Many of the best drivers in the world, past and present, started in karting because of the skills and techniques learned driving them. To say they "have no bearing on the rest of the game" is outright wrong. Spend some time learning from them and you will find your driving improves overall.
 
Kart racing is as relevant as circuit racing, drag racing, rally racing and so on.
 
Ok, so who honestly plays this for the kart racing? There are games like Mario Kart for those who want the kart racing experience. Gran Turismo is about tuning and pushing vehicles to their limits, regardless of where any other professional drivers started. If they want realism, they need to start by getting rid of the "standard" and "premium" cars classification. Less thought seems to have been put there than anything.
To add more kart racing is utterly ridiculous, especially since NOBODY asked for it! PD just needs to pull their heads out of their a?+es long enough to find out what the common issues are that EVERYBODY actually want.
This game should never have been released before it was thought through and completed in its entirety, but as usual, they rushed it and now we have a partial game that we all have to wait for actual completion and kart racing sure as hell isn't what people want to spend time on until this abomination is done.
