The McLaren SLR has wing type spoiler on the back that raises up under braking from high speeds to help with the slowing down of the car. Have they incorporated this into the game? Have they put anything like this on the cars that are supposed to have them or are we stuck with fixed bodywork and aerodynamics again?

Also, if anyone knows which cars exactly should have things like this on I'd be grateful if you could post them.

I know a few Porsches (Boxster for starters) do but whether they still have the moving aerodynamics after RUF have modified them, I don't know.

yup, the mitsubishi HSR-II concept car has two giant flaps in the back that move up and down depending on speed, steering input, and accel/brake input

I am curious as to whether the Chapparal (2D?) incorporates this feature. I'm pretty sure the original did.

The Cadillac Cien has a spoiler which raises out of the bodywork at about 70mph.

Fun fun fun.

I just popped a wing on the Cien from the GT Auto section on as soon as I got it... I should take that off and see what the stock wing looks like, although I'll lose my adjustable downforce...

Yeah the wing exists on the McLaren SLR. It annoys me sometimes though. When I start braking and the wing comes up, it breaks my concentration and i look at the wing and crash LOL.

I just checked out the third person view in the Caddy Cien. The wing does raise up and down, I'd say it retracted when I slowed to about 40-50 mph. Very cool little touch.

Edit - sorry, looks like Famine posted this already.

What other cars have this feature? If I'm not mistaken I think the Chrysler Crossfire does.

Amazing!!! But true.. hehe. But adds realism to the game. The reverse lights shoud of been a must. 👍

I know in GT Concept the Concept Nissan GTR had a rising spolier, so it should in GT4 (I dont know because Im still waiting).

First things first, you know. Bubble Bunny... love the Photo Album. Good job.

Yeah, I also hate no reverse lights. Ha! I lied. Hell cares about two extra lights? San Andreas didn't have them, Le Mans 24 Hours didn't have them, I think Midnight Club 2 didn't have them, so it doesn't make much of a difference. I didn't know that about the wing for the SLR. Pretty interesting. I think people criticize on the McLaren-Mercedes SLR because it has an automatic transmission or whatever, but this car is pretty alluring if you ask me. Like a bullet going down the road. Slick, sexy, cool, who wouldn't want a supercar like this?

So with this rear wing deal for it, I'm guessing that handling dynamics under braking for this car should be different from most other cars. You see? Each car in GT4 is different.

and the 3KGT SL is listed as AWD =(

Exactly! The Mk1 MR2 & M1 Miata both have a 7,500 rpm redline in the game, but in real life they both have a 7,000 rpm redline. The 3'rd generation Corvette in GT4 has a 6,000 rpm redline, but it's 5,000 in real life. The Lexus GS300 is an absolute joke. PD should seriously get their facts straight before claiming to be a "Real Driving Simulator".

That's true of course (allthough i don't have the game) but please, something like redlines would have been incredibly easy to program (or to correct them in PAL or USA versions)
