MP3+MPEG Player for FC2?

I need to find an MP3/MPEG player for my Fedora Core 2 System. The version of xmms that came with it won't play either format and won't play streaming audio either. How could I change it, or what is another good player?

For MPEG video use xine; daily xine RPM builds located here: http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/

For XMMS, install from sources taken from this site: http://www.xmms.org/download.php

Or if you know how to use rpmbuild, rebuild from the source RPM provided there, and use the --force flag with rpm (once you have created it) to overwrite the XMMS that Redhat provides.

I use JuK as a MP3 player, it is very iTunes-ish, but you have to jump through hoops to get it working on FC2.
