MR Drift Cars?!?!

Hello Forum,
I was in a Japanese Drift Room and They were amazing But they were all drifting NSX's lol after trolling the Dealership I found out that both the Honda and the Accura NSX were MR Drivetrain. which kinda stumped me
so. is how do you tune MR drift cars or does anyone have a NSX tune For comfort hards

i friend of mine had a ''setup'' he just lowered it -5 on the rear and it got better do drift with. also mr cars are really fast drift cars and wild!

The main disadvantage of MR I'd say is that they are twitchy as fook ;) Lol.

Also, be prepared to not be allowed to use them in some competitions as they're deemed too fast to be fair whilst twinning.

Main problem i have with drifing MR is when changing gear, they tend to take alot longer going into gear and also dkill the power as the gear is selected!

I drift my NSX Type S-Zero occasionally, as for a set-up I can't help you there.
As mine works fine for me stock.

Release the throttle when you shift, it'll get rid of that problem.
MR are too easy to drift compared to FR, but I love them, especially the BTR.
They're really forgiving compared to FR.

BTR is RR. Engine behind the rear axle, not between the two axles. I actually dont find the RR engined cars to be as twitchy as MR. RRs oversteer more but MRs have all their weight in the middle which makes them rotate faster. Think figure skater doing a triple axle or a snowboarder tucking for a rodeo. Get all the weight closer to the rotational axis and the speed of the spin increases. Spread the weight out and the speed of the spin decreases.

The only MR car I have is the Honda NSX and it has the same style of tune as my FR cars with just a touch more rear camber. It feels almost exactly the dame as a front engine, maybe even more stable. Like somone stated above theyre really forgiving, I had no trouble linking the track on the first go. Theyre fun but not like my FR stuff.

It is easier. Yet I do love using my NSX Type-Zero occasionally, just fun because of how quick it changes direction.

I have a 97 MR2 that is setup for doing Super Laps on Tsukuba and it will drift all the corners if you push too hard even with Racing Softs.

I haven't tried drifting the NSX-R yet. Got it lastnight but the same car in GT5P was alot of fun and very stable for drifting.
