I heard it on the radio this morning. I watched him every day for years growing up. The Land of Make Believe was my fantasy land. Fred Rogers and his world are irrevocably part of me. There are not many positive influences I can attribute to TV, but Mr. Rogers Neiborhood is one. Especially in today's world, a man who represented kindness and understanding and patience for all will be missed. I felt sad when I heard, and think the world is less without him.

I never really watched him as a kid. I remember a few episodes but that's about it. Too bad he is gone though. Seemed like a pretty good guy. An honorable man.

Man, I watched him so much.

He was a nice contrast from the rest of this dog-eat-dog world, and I was too young to realize it at the time.

I was going to post this right now.

I just saw it on TV.

Even though his programs were kinda goofy and aimed to children, I still respect the man and his work.

These are some bad news.

So I hear. Must've been an agonizong way to go.

That's what I thought as well. I was watching CNN a couple minutes ago though and a person close to Rogers said that it was quick and painless, he didn't die suffering. I'm sure the cancer was agonizing but maybe when he died it somehow wasn't? I don't know what to think.

i liked the segments when he showed how things are made, like crayons
Yes, I always loved those, too! But, I remember watching the show almost exclusively for the trolly (I never could get enough of forms of transportation when I was little...and, well, I still can't). I am very sad to hear this news. :(

When I saw this this morning, it saddened me.

I always watched his show.
The mailman
The trolley
Feeding the fish
That traffic light he had
playing in the sand with hotwheels
and going to places and learning about how stuff is made.

He really was the best TV show for kids.

Yeah. He was a good man... I used to watch his show alot when i was growing up, too, and i used to watch it every once and a while even when i grew out of it. He will be missed. Him and that trolly... *Ding ding..*

I bet Mr. Rogers did, too. I wonder what kind?

*edit*

Whoa... this is referring to Jordan having a car and all that from way above. Looks like I posted during a big rush.

R.I.P. Mr. Rogers.

i watched his show everyday, i always liked the town and the trolly, but most of all the segment where they showed how things were made.

I heard the news in my English class on CNN. Very sad indeed. :( I always loved the red trolley car.

Actually mile,
With the intervention of hospice, his death was likely very peaceful, and relatively painfree.
I liked the Trolley, and the object lessons.

My kids watched Him too.:(
