hi i got a problem with sending files on MSN Messenger. every time i go to send a file nothing happens for a while and i get the error message

"We could not send this file because the connection is blocked. Please contact your system administrator or Internet service provider; they may be able to enable file transfers."

i'm using Messenger version 5 and i'm running XP pro with a 56k dial up connection

Its possible either one of you is running a firewall. That might be why it won't let you send the file. Try disabling your firewall if you are running one. I haven't had much luck sending files through AIM, MSN messanger,etc. Sending files via email is much easier in my opinion.
