Built in 1991, the MTX V8 was planned to be the first Czechoslovakian supercar. It was powered by a 302 bhp 3.9 litre V8, and weighed in at 1,350 kgs. This gives the car a 0-60 sprint time of 5.6 seconds and a top speed of 165 mph. A production run of 100 or more cars was planned, but unfortunately, due to a fire in the assembly factory, all of the chassis, bodies and other parts were destroyed, meaning that ultimately, only four MTX V8's were built.

Any regular person would think this is a Ferrari or Lamborghini. A car bore would know what this is.

I fall under neither category.

Czech it out!

.........It practically reeks of pure garden-shed special enthusiasm, especially that card-board rear end. Got my vote.

It somehow is.:) In the first video they talk about gauges and buttons being borrowed from Škoda 120 and Favorit..

Pretty sure they only made three rather than four.

Red, white and black.

Never seen any evidence of the fourth beyond what the Wikipedia entry says and that's never the most reliable of sources.
