Much more storage space for replays, photos etc. starting in February?

I wouldn't think so mate.
It's only PS Plus, which is used for hold backups/transferring of game saves.
And GT Sports local progress save size is only 39MB.

Think of it like this.
They are taking away the 10GB USB memory stick used to store game saves on, and giving you a 100GB USB memory stick instead.
That's pretty much it.

It would require PD to alter the in-game save capacity for things such as replays, liveries, photos, etc.
Besides, the last time I played around with GT Sport local/cloud progress saves, it didn't seem to work anyway.
