Honda won't let you test drive anything anymore, so its not just the S2000. Ask them for the keys to the Fit (saying your in the market for it or the Yaris), and they're likely to ask for a down-payment beforehand. At least, thats what they've tried here in parts of the US...

Yeah, those salesmen just hate you. :lol: We went out in an Si sedan. A 19 year old and 20 year old guy. Without a salesman. Sure, they knew we were going to run it, but we also had them convinced Donovan actually wanted to buy it. Afterwards, "Well, if you guys get a white one with the HFP body kit, tell me."
"Okay."

Except that they don't make an HFP kit for the sedan. Many salespeople are clueless. Ask them questions about details and all that. I've heard more than a few just make stuff up.
 
I think my problem is that whenever I talk to salesmen, at any dealer I go to, I usually ask them to tell me why their car is better than their competitors. That doesn't go over well at every dealer, but then again, they hate informed shoppers the most.

I just find it so strange that the Mazda dealer that is owned by the same company as the Honda dealer is so many times more considerate, friendly, and welcoming. When Honda tried to convince us that a Civic was a better choice than a Mazda6 (which cost less mind you...), I grabbed my Mom and left. That guy who did that doesn't work there anymore, but it often looks as though they've gotten rid of a lot of their salesmen since then.

...It must be because I drive up in a Jetta that they don't want to talk to me. They must hate us snooty VW drivers...
