Multi monitor client mode?

i dont want to change my game unless I know what it will do

As I understand it, if you have a multi-monitor/multi-PS3 setup the client mode is for the 2/4 client PS3's. I am unsure what the outcome would be if selected with only a single monitor/PS3. (One PS3 is the primary, the rest are clients. Each requires a copy of GT6.)

If you input a local network IP to enable the client mode while without a server present in your local network,it just make you wait at standby mode with a GT LOGO Screen forever until your press X to quit, everything fine

^ That. All that would happen is that you'd see a black screen with the GT logo. If you hit the circle button it would go back to the main GT menu.
