All penalties will be handled after each round by the race stewards. The most important rule is the lapping of slower classes rule. This rule in its most basic form is that the slower class (Gr.3) is to always remain on the racing line and it is the duty of the faster class (Gr.1) to go around the slower class. However it is also up to the slower class to know when to move off the racing line to not block the much faster class.
If a faster class driver is in an accident with a slower class, 9/10 of the time the blame will fall on the faster class car.
Sportsmanship is always advised, if you bump another driver off of the track it is on the driver who caused the incident to slow down and allow the other driver back passed.
If a driver is given a time penalty by the game for cutting a corner they must serve that penalty on the same lap.
Depending on the severity of the incident many of the following punishments can be dealt:
- Points can be taken away from the championship total.
- Drive through penalty.
- Disqualification from race.
- Disqualification from championship.
