Welcome to the Multiclass Endurance Championship (MEC). This championship will consist of 8 rounds across 3 different continents. Race distances will vary based loosely off times of the real world WEC, with shorter races such as the 6 Hours of Fuji being only 60 minutes in MEC. A full listing will be made below.

Whilst MEC is multiclass, BOP will be activated manually by each driver. Only certain cars have been allowed to participate to enhance the realism of this championship. Please see [CAR LIST] for more information on vehicles that are allowed to enter and their BOP.

Pre Qualifying will be announced soon, expect it near the end of September. Only 10 drivers max per 15 minute super qualifier. You will be notified which session you will be in.

There are only 14 available spots in this championship so be ready to fight to earn a seat!

What will happen in the event of a pitlane or rolling start bug?

If during qualifying a driver is bugged, the session will be restarted and the bugged driver will be told to restart their PS4. If the same player is still bugged after resetting they will be excluded from qualifying and will start last in their class.

If during a rolling start a player is bugged, they will be told to restart their PS4. If the bug persists the driver will start last in their class. If a driver qualifies on pole position of their class (earning them 10 bonus points) and is bugged at the rolling start, they will keep the pole position points but will start from the back.

3rd: 30 Points

4th: 25 Points

5th: 20 Points

6th: 15 Points

7th: 10 Points

8th: 5 Points

Pole Position: 5 Points

Fastest Lap: 5 Points

ALL POINTS ARE DOUBLED FOR SEASON FINALE

All penalties will be handled after each round by the race stewards. The most important rule is the lapping of slower classes rule. This rule in its most basic form is that the slower class (Gr.3) is to always remain on the racing line and it is the duty of the faster class (Gr.1) to go around the slower class. However it is also up to the slower class to know when to move off the racing line to not block the much faster class.

If a faster class driver is in an accident with a slower class, 9/10 of the time the blame will fall on the faster class car.

Sportsmanship is always advised, if you bump another driver off of the track it is on the driver who caused the incident to slow down and allow the other driver back passed.

If a driver is given a time penalty by the game for cutting a corner they must serve that penalty on the same lap.

Depending on the severity of the incident many of the following punishments can be dealt:

  1. Points can be taken away from the championship total.

  2. Drive through penalty.

  3. Disqualification from race.

  4. Disqualification from championship.
