Online and/or split screen, I can't help but think that a competitive, player(s) versus player(s), B-spec would really take GT5 beyond the next level and further distinguish Mr. Kazunori Yamauchi San's creation from the other racers.
Surely not that difficult an enhancement for another future update?

maybe people will like it, but for me it will be boring as hell :)

I don't really have much time for games such as football manager, but I do have a little, as many others do too. According to what I understand, as KY originally envisioned GT as an RPG, this idea may already be in his mind.

I know there for sure are poeple who like 'b-specing' (lol) and enjoy that. it's just not for me, everytime I watch my bob my eyes are in pain and I'm like

Couldn't think of online gaming any more boring. Sorry.

I'd actually quite like it, it's something different and sometimes when I can't be bothered to race it would be good to race against other people's bobs instead of the normal bspec bobs.....

I think what is a better Idea is that there is an online mode were you and your b-spec bob are in one team versus other players and there bobs. Like f1 were there are two cars in each team....you and your bob racing with each other against other teams of them and their bobs.

I think he means in a room with other people, like you would for A-Spec racing.

I read it as Bobs racing others Bobs. Do you mean A-Spec vs B-Spec online?

No he means a B-Spec race online between players. You control your bob, I control my Bob and they race. Like I say I would find that utterly boring but to each their own.

I like the idea. Reason being because I want to show off my B-Spec bobs names, such as C.Klein and P.Gay

I would actually quite like this - the thing that really bugs me about B-Spec is how Bob, despite being an AI driver, seems to operate on a completely different wavelength to the actual AI - showing occasional moments of brilliance, but most of the time being much more cautious and showing far worse technique to the rest of the field - who aren't exactly masters of speed themselves! This maddens me, that PD gave you an AI that works differently to the bleeding AI they already have in the rest of the damn game :yuck: Or maybe that isn't the case, maybe it's just the rage I get every time Bob can't accelerate out of a freaking corner that's making be biased.........:dunce:

Either way, I think pitting human directors vs. human directors could work very well. It would be cool if you could see during a race when other players are telling their to drivers to pace up/pace down/etc. and see how all the different "tactics" play out for everyone.

I've actually enjoyed watching the remote races when I've been too busy to actually play. And it's benefiting my friends, a lot.

I'd enjoy this but my idea has alway's been, allow the Bob's to fill up a grid in a online race. GT would randomize between players Bob's and the Bob would be matched with the players car's that fit the requirements.

I wish I could control my B spec racers in remote races that would be awesome

Precisely. Especially with what effect we have seen tactics playing in the new online B spec seasonals.
