Multiplayer Bug?

When me and my friend 1st started up a 2 player battle using our garage cars, we noticed that there was no tcs or anything, the cars handled like slop and reved out as they would with tcs off, so we then went into the options menu to check if tcs and everything was on and it was, we tried again and still no tcs!! Whats the deal? we tried changing the options on both memory cards not that it should matter, has anyone else experienced this yet?...When using the cars from the manufacturers it gives you the option of tcs and all that, but why not with the garaged cars? Its so frustrating, maybe we missed somthing. Can anyone please help or share some thoughts?
 
I believe that the use of computer guidance is determined in the individual car's tuning page (with the gear ratios, downforce, etc). I don't believe it will matter what you turn on or off beyond that--if you have the setting turned off in your car's settings, the only way to change it is to go into the settings and change it as you desire.
