Multiplayer Night Race

I was just doing a race with my friend on the Circuit de Larthe / Change Time, I set the time to 23:50 so it was pitch black anyway I finished the race and won so I decided to save the replay, I went back to take photos from the replay and bam in the replay it was day time.

I just wanted to know how do I save a replay of a night race and keep it a night race.

Here's a question - Is it totally necessary to be so obtuse? There's way too much pedantry and downright rudeness going on. Surely it must've been obvious what the op was alluding to?

Exactly. It was to me.

I guess I never came across this. I guess I never saved a night replay & watched it yet? I thought I had, but maybe I'm wrong.

Is this always the case?
Is it just certain tracks maybe?

And if it is, I can't imagine how you could change it. Save replay & watch replay is save replay & watch replay - there's no settings for replays, is there?

I've seen night photos (action in motion) posted in the photomode forum often enough, I just assumed replays must be shown in night time.
But maybe it's only certain tracks...
Or maybe it's just multiplayer?

If it's just with multiplayer, it could be a graphics issue just like how you can't "roll over" a car in a mulitiplayer race. The graphics are limited in multiplayer.
If it's that issue... then there's no way around it, for certain. Multiplayer graphic limitations are multiplayer graphic limitations, and there's nothing for it.

Jesus guys, I think you're starting to be the hateful persons around here now. Honestly, I did not know what OP had in mind. I did not know what OP was trying to ask, as this could imply quite a lot of questions.
 
Did you watch the replay directly after the race or did you come back later?
Maybe it has got to do with the fact that you can change time online but not offline?? If you look at the replay, does it change time at all (like, from mid day to afternoon or something like that?) or seems to stay the same the entire race?
