Can you have multiple game saves in the same flash drive (memory stick, USB)? Had a bad experience before where a low game save copied over a high one. I'm kinda reluctant to even try.

I have started over a new game, mainly for the widget and there is almost no true racing left in my main account (just some of the wicked challenges and licenses).

Thanks!

one save file per usb, unfortunately. :(

You can if you connect the USB drive to a computer and rename the "PS3" folder to something else. Just remember to rename the correct ones each time you connect to the PS3.

haven't tried this but will you be able to copy the save back to the ps3? or do you have to reverse the renaming first?

Save your first game on the USB, transfer to a PC, delete from the USB.
Save you next game on the USB, connect to USB, add previous save.

Whether the PS will know which save to use is unknown to me but if you have access to a PC you can manage you saves and keep as many as you can fit onto a flash drive.

Well for some ordinary guy it seems impossible. But if you're some kinda computer freak then i'm sure it can be done in some way ;) But else u can be a member of PS+ in theese days and that allows you so save your files in the internet :)

Thanks for your thoughts guys. It's what I feared. Back to switching sticks!

You can have infinite saves per USB, you just need a computer.

The PS3 will only read one top level PS3 folder, but if you put a PS3 folder within another folder the PS3 won't read it.

So your USB should look like this:

Top level folders

PS3 > inside is a PS3 save
Backups > inside are other PS3 folders, you need to move them to top level with a computer to access on PS3
