Just a quick question,

I have three younger brothers all with psp's, if I buy the
game on UMD they can take turns with it. If I buy the downloaded version via my ps3 can they just transfer the memory card between them as if it was a umd, or is the game locked to the first psp it's played on.
 
I think you can download something to up to Five Devices with the same PSN account

This is correct. If you buy the PSN version, you could all play with the one download, and you could race each other as well!
