Initially I agree, but then I clicked on the "New Profile Posts" button. It got me to this:
This is really intriguing. Maybe it's a bug or a glitch, maybe not, but I hope there's some sort of countermeasure for, say, having all the forum page statuses taken by one person. But it looks like these statuses are archived, and not overwriting one another.

This is just the way it behaves now after a recent software update. I'm not crazy about it and may adjust it later when I have more time.
If a user abuses the status box, they would be disciplined by the moderation staff for flooding, the same as they would be in any other area of the forum.
