Ok, I did Google them, and all it came up with was how to change it from a 3.36.

What?

You've got to know what transmissions were offered and then search those ratios up

I want to give this a shot. Are you using factory options or setups from old speed shops back in the day?

Factory options only. For example, some cars came with 3 or 4 different rear end ratios and several different transmissions and up to 8 different engines. Your job is to pick the best/fastest combination while using the actually figures themselves. The car has to be similar to the ones in GT5.

Slash, what tires should I use to replicate my car?

Everyone is using Racing Soft's.

The chevelle is heavier and has more wheelspin than the mustang or camaro, thats why it lost Slash. I'd like to see how the Tempest would fair with stats of the '69 Judge. Or maybe a mercury cougar with the gran torino SCJ specs. Since those cars should be in the game but arent.

Edit: If you used lightweight upgrade on the yenko chevelle, you could get close to the weight of the yenko nova and do that too. That should run closer to the mustang.

Keep in mind don't use factory ratings. Use stock dynos from YouTube for actual power output.

I believe we did that and it fared better.

I just did this to the 87 gnx replicating my 80 Monte Carlo that I drive in real life.... I think gt5 should have more g body cars

The Monte needs to be stock or it cannot be used in this comp.

IRL as yours sits it stands the GNX stands now chance, you've got it by a got 3-4 seconds. Stock for stock, they run about even, GNX might pull a little

3-4 seconds? Dang. I'll use a Mach 1 then. You said we can't change the tranny? I have a 5 speed tho.

Find the exact gear ratios and rear end and thay should still fit. Did in my 4 geared 69 vette 427 with 5 gears on the game. Just don't use last gear.

But judt google the trans what you have. Like google the exact gear ratios for that. And can you make top speed really high and short 1st and long 2nd and make a powerglide on this game? It would be cool to replicate real drag cars from that time. Like semi modified ones.

He has an aftermarket trans, most likely a Tremec. So he can't use those gears.

You should be able to replicate a powerglide, I have no problems doing a 3 speed so I can't see why not
