I'm a big fan of the game, and the music is fantastic. So naturally I flipped out when I heard that one could buy the soundtrack.

I bought it for ten dollars, and downloaded it through a program called directsong. EDIT: 2/4/08 The program that "directsong" uses refuses to function. Now playing the music is an even bigger pain in the neck, only TWO DAYS after I bought it.

Pros:
The sound quality is fantastic, and you get to hear all of the nuances.
60 minutes of great music
Cons:
All of the songs are really short
Has to be played in its own stupid little player
Can't be burned to a disc
Can't be used on an MP3 player
Won't work on iTunes or Zune
Has a license agreement thing built in each track
Puts an icon on desktop, and if you delete the icon you delete the entire file.
The Player malfunctions now, I get an error code and It won't work.
The Icon that it automatically installed on my desktop takes me to "My Computer", and doesn't play the music.

Quite frankly, I see absolutely no point anyone paying ten dollars to only be able to use the music on a PC. It's misleading and a waste of money. I bought it hoping I could play it on my Zune. I'm extremely disappointed.

0.5/10 👎👎:irked:

I ended up getting a code for a free download of this when I went to Play!, the symphony with video game music. I must say it's not bad but I don't think I would have paid for it either.
