Music Folder Thumbnails

I've recently been sorting my music out into folders before backing my comp up, basically I have a folder for each artist with separate album folders with in. I stick the album artwork in the artist folder itself rather than each album folder. Thing is, some artist folders are showing just one album cover and others are showing up in a multiple artwork (up to 4 thumbnails each folder).

So the question is...how do I get this...

...to change to this format.

Someone mentioned something about thumbs.db, but there's nothing like that either shown or hidden. Thanks for any help

(Windows XP btw)

Edit - Another detail or two I should mention is the folders that have the larger picture stay like that whether there's a .jpg image in there or not and almost all my music files have had images assigned to them on iTunes (yet they don't all end up doing that to the main folder thumbnail)

For the Queen folder, did you specify to use that image? If so, will a "Restore Default" fix it?

One other thing to check is in the "What kind of folder do you want" drop down there are multiple options for music files. Maybe the Music Artist setting will do it? Maybe?

Tried both. The Queen folder and others like it just automatically came up like that so annoyingly restore default isn't working because it seems that image is acting as the default and I've got pretty much every folder under the first of the 3 music types (I've tried the other two too...doesn't seem to work).

I had tried creating a new folder, transferring the music to there and then renaming it with the album year after deleting the original, that option doesn't work either it seems.

Edit - I *think* I've fixed it, messing around with one folder which had tracks that weren't on albums for Alex Parks, I put the odd one out into an "Others" folder and created a new artist folder. Transferred everything into that and renamed it to 'Alex Parks' and so it appears that the odd one out track was messing with it. So I'll try the new folder thing with all the others.

Hmm, yup to fix it it's a case of making sure all files are in folders, creating a new folder and putting in the album art first or at the same time as the album folders. Least that's what worked for me... I hate solving my own problems, makes my threads a waste of time lol.

Your problem seems to be that you have a Bryan Adams folder. Delete it and it'll solve all your worries.
