Because on Monday or Tuesday, we're going to pick up my car, a 1999 Mercury Sable GS. :D  :) Specs:

Engine: 3.0 L OHV 6 cyl making 145 HP @ 5250 RPM and 170 lb/ft @ 3250 RPM

Transmission: 4 speed automatic/OD (prepares for, "ogm auto trannys sux0rz" comments)

Mileage: 115,288 mi (normal)

Condition: Good, just some minor scratches on the right side and a bit soft brake pedal.

Test Drive: The car has decent acceleration. Steering is fairly responsive. No major driveline or suspension issues. It'll take a bit of getting used to since I've been driving a '97 Ford Exploder regularly for the past 3 months.

Mine looks similar to this one:

When my car was in the shop I had one of these for a rent-a-car. And I drove the **** out of it, it seemed to be a decently comfortable car--granted it's not fast by any means but it is a good car for A to B transportation. It'll haul 4 adults comfortably and if you keep the accelerator off of the floor and it'll get decent mpg for a V6. And it's obvious to mention there is a ton of space in the boot. What'd you pay for it?

Oh and don't let anyone tell you "oh it's an american saloon/sedan it's horrid" or something of that effect...if YOU like it that's what really counts. Hope things go well for you. 👍

Ya waxing your baby for the first time to great...you get bonding time.

And....how is she ?? !!?? Have you waxed her yet >?

It runs excellent, but I still wish it had the Duratec V6. :p But I won't complain because it's a huge upgrade from my other car. I'll probably wax it this weekend. :)

That needs a SHO V6 swap... bad... :D :D :D

Kudos to ShobThaBob who did it a lot more subtly than I'm going to:

The 1996-1999 Ford Taurus SHO actually used a Yamaha-sourced 235-horsepower 3.4-liter V8. Only the 1989-1995 models used a V6: manual ones (1989-1995) used a 220-horsepower 3-liter, while automatics (1993-1995) used a 220-horsepower 3.2-liter.
