Hello there fellow GTers!
Let me introduce myself. I am a member, and the main host of MWCRC – Married with Children Racing Club racing events. We meet officially every Friday and Saturday evening for track days and practices. We are all 30+ mature gentleman racers, married or common law partnered with children which is a requirement to join our club. Our club is based on clean hard gentlemanly racing and it works very well indeed. We race only stock premium cars for our official race (once a month) and also some tuned versions for short fun races that we run from time to time.
We have a really good core membership of around 8 regulars who meet up in the week for unofficial races and most importantly to practice our chosen car and track for the official race in a given month.
Requirements to join MWCRC
•You must be 30+
•You must be married or partnered
•You must have Children (we all know what its like to suddenly have to leave a session because there are little feet banging around upstairs or moody teenagers causing us grief
)
•You must be a Gentleman to your fellow competitors at all times! We promote hard, fair, clean competitive racing for all levels.
•Available for our track days on Fridays at 22:00GMT
•Available for our Practice sessions at 21:00GMT
•You must have a good broadband connection!
Rules
•Normal GTP racing etiquette rules apply.
•GT5 penalties are off – report any continuous corner cutting or other offences to the race marshal in private after the race.
•Tuning is strictly prohibited unless an item such as wing adjustment comes with the car as stock
•Tires are chosen by the members. We usually run with the stock tires that come with the car. This makes for very realistic racing.
•No assists are allowed apart from ABS1
•You must have fun!

On a personal note my experience with racing with my fellow members of MWCRC have been second to none, my best online experience ever! Super close no contact racing. We are all strapped for time with the family and we all understand when somebody needs to leave suddenly due to unforeseen circumstances.
We have very experienced members who race Karts in the real world and who enjoy motorsport at all levels. All of our members are very friendly and are available for advice if you are new to GT5, sim racing or just generally need help in getting your lap times down. We need more members who want to meet up regularly at weekends and not just turn up for the official races!
Last but not least our very nice principal member Pianoman is providing amazing prizes for the top 3 drivers of our official championship!!! Again details are on our official club website.
