Hello! I finally decided to go cheap and make my own instead of buying the very costly Playseat or Wheelstand. (Since I already have a gaming chair) Just wanted to share my $25 Wheel stand & Cockpit project... it is still in design develpoment.. I am making a model frame using welded steel rod before I do the actual frame in which i will use a 1 inch square tube. Any comments & suggestions are very much welcome:tup: here are some pics:)

latest pic.. now fully welded i am in the process of installing the pedals then have it painted and covered with vinyl leather:)

Looks sturdy!! Have you mounted the rocker chair yet, or is it just sitting there?
 
Cool, now you just need to find a spray can and give the frame a nice colour. 👍
 
ozone: will just cut a piece of wood to prevent it from rocking and moving:)

occasionalracer: having it painted with paint primer now then will spray flat black on it:) should last longer than a spray can paint.

is the seat adjustable at all or it's exclusively for you? :)
 
tnx! it is exclusively just for me:) will just put a piece of angled wood under the seat to stop it from rocking:)
