This is just to advertise that the AFL football pool, located in the Sports Forum under Football, is in its playoff run down, and new members can start playing with existing members with the same score. Playoffs start a clean slate record, and all members are invited to play.

Trust me when I say this, no one knows the AFL and its just comes down to guessing. So no experience is needed.

This will also give everyone a chance to get a feel of how the pool runs so when the NFL pool comes around, everyone can play with no doubts.

This year, the NFL pool will have some rewards, so if you haven't already... check it out! You can click the link in my HUGE signature to take you right where you need to be! :D

If you have been apart of the football pool, testimonials would be nice!
 
I am living proof that you need not know a thing about football to win a football pool. :D C'mon, y'all... it'll be fun! What have you got to lose? (Except your pride if you're among a bunch of guys to lose to me.. hahahahaha)
 
I did the playoff pool, and was initially reasonably successful, but then appeared to pick only players with cloven hooves, which was somewhat irritating.

However, the league was very smoothly run. :)

Well, nobody who was playing knew a thing about AFL, so we were all in the same boat.

I don't think so - arena football is too different. I was reading some team's summary in a Texas newspaper the other week and it said that the Houston Whatevers rushed for four yards in a whole game.
