My attempt at a cockpit

GT4 is a different game now; i did not use a plan, sort of made it up as i went along. I love sliding round the ring in my Mitsubishi lancer 1600 GSR rally car, the downside is my girlfriend is mad i built my driving seat and not decorated the living room.

Mine is still under construction.

Iv'e half finished it, Basically its a tube structure all welded with panels so it looks like an F1 car, i have reduced the seating arrangement so you sit really
low in a bucket seat. The peddles are mounted far back so you can't see them and steering wheel is mounted just low enough, Yes there's room for the gear changes and steering movement. So getting in and out will be just like the real thing. it will be great for those endurance races.

My first cockpit, which will have to do while I attempt to build a 'real' one is still a chair from the dinner table and a tv tray bought for six dollars from Target. Ironically the stand is REALLY sturdy so no problems.
