ps support cant help
I'm broadly unsurprised: they're not experts in GT by any stretch. We are, but frankly I don't even know what the problem is, so PS support has no hope.

There's no such thing as a "best cars file" and indeed your GT7 save game isn't even stored on your console at all. Your GT7 game save data - with your progress, credit balance, garage, results, and so on - is stored remotely, on Polyphony Digital's servers, which prevents both cheating and file corruption. It's checked when starting the game up.

Could you better describe exactly what the issue is? By that I mean explain what it is that you are doing and what it is you see as a result of doing it that leads you to believe your "best cars file gets corrupted"? There's only one thing I can think of, but it wouldn't lose you any credits or cars, so I need more information.

You can use your PS4/PS5 console's inbuilt capture function (called Create on PS4 or Share on PS5) to capture screenshots which you can transfer off your console with a USB flash drive or to your PS App and upload here - and screenshots are much better than photographs taken of a TV/monitor screen as they are a standard resolution, not subject to reflections, and don't crop off important parts of the screen.

Could you have mistakingly used the wrong PS profile to start GT7? I've done that on multiple occasions, and after the initial shock of seeing my progress "erased," I'd restart the game, notice that I was on my wife's profile, and promptly switch over, fixing the issue.

Is your garage currently only displaying favourite cars? Top left of the garage and change that to display all cars.

Even though it's not the preferred method, it's better than the nothing we currently have.

No because its the same profile i started the only difference is the name had too be changed i didnt play for 4 years because i was in the hospital from my neurological disease im dying from..so couldn't play gt7 in hospital atleast not where I was at. And ontop of that gt7 is the only game I play. And I made this profile when I was sent home too my grandmother's house after being stabilized. And now 4 ps4s later and same game profile.its basically every car between 3 and 7 million dollars I make gets corrupted sales the data of another car o er it..Orr the 1 million dollar range cars just revert back too stock the ones cheaper do both together saves the stock information over the reverted I e wrong car

This isn't really how GT7 works, so again, without any images showing the issue we don't have any real idea what the perceived issue is.

Hey OP.

Why don't you start by screen-grabbing or photographing the screen where you reckon you discovered that you're missing some cars?

Then post it on here and maybe someone can help you.

It's possible that you have set a filter on your garage that's limiting the cars you can see. If you can go into your garage and take a picture of the screen people may be able to help more. But there is an icon in he top right corner of the garage screen where you select your cars from your home that allows you to choose different filters. Try to take some pictures of the problem, a video might help too if you can capture the problem occurring, and post it here.
