EDIT: View cars from that maker alone (I can't remember who makes that particular model) and see if it's listed. Maybe it's just the thumbnail that's missing?

Chevrolet is the make of the car.

Don't feel bad I had that happen once, but it turned out that i had just misplaced it and when I went and looked for it later I was able to recover it. Just keep scrolling through the Chevrolet's and I'm sure you'll find it. If not then I'd assume that you might have gifted it recently and then forgot about it and now you're just confused. I've done that before too and I had to go ask my previous traders if I had sent them a NASCAR in the trade.

No cars will ever get 'stolen' 'lost' or 'hacked'..

As mentioned it'll be in there, it's either been misplaced (as in you're not seeing it in your garage but it is there) or you've gifted it and either forgot or done it by accident.

Some cars, like the concept cars, can appear lost when using the search feature i.e. driverain. For instance, my R35 TMS concept doesn't appear under 4WD on the filter, but change the filter to "--" and it's filed under there.

Whenever you see "--" in your filter, there'll be a car there that would normally come under FWD, MR, RW or 4WD, but this won't apply to your NASCAR.

Assuming you didn't get it from pre-ordering the game, I heard somewhere that you get the car from a race, and that it disappears either the next day or the next time you turn off your ps3/quit the game.
I would look into this because I highly doubt your car got "stolen". This isn't GTA.

The missing car problem has happened to more than a few people now. I've had it happen to me.

Just to reassure OP and others's (not shem, I know he's joking )

When PSN comes back you should change your password immediately.

Even if someone DID have access to your PSN:ID name+pass they wouldn't be able to get your cars because they're in the game file stored locally on your PS3:HDD.

I had something similar happening to me. I had the Nissan Skyline Granturismo normal and Pace version. One day I received another Pace car version, so I sold my used Pace Car (the only one which had km).

Much later on, I realized I had 2 Pace cars, and my normal one was gone... I am almost certainly I sold the pace car version.

I think it might be a bug, when you filter cars in your garage and sell them, maybe.

But could only be me going senile and sold the wrong car... I don't know...

I am very sure i did't gift it. just used in once... i will search again soon. i also can look in my database profil. there i can see everything i did in the past. but i doubt i find something.

Usually you can find them by looking at the manufacturer. I've heard of this before though, so there may be a bug causing it. If you recieved a Gamestop Nascar from a ticket you recieve it but it disappears after you turn your ps3 off (you need a PSN code to unlock it normally, recieving it from a ticket is an unfortunate glitch).
