My Copy of Gladius Sounds Like an Angry Cat Inside My GC

I put in my new copy of Gladius for my GC last night and is sounds awful spinning around in there. I've never had a game make so much noise while spinning in any console.

The loading spins are loud enough but every now and then there is a disturbing sound of plastic snapping. Like the disc gets stuck for a second and then pops its way out.

I'm afraid to play the game for fear of it breaking my GC. Anybody else having similar problems with this game?

Very fun game so far by the way. First time I've seen a 3D strategy game before very pretty.
 
Take it back as soon as possible.. Sounds like the disc is either off balance or warped...
 
Sounds like the simular problems on the PS2. The laser is having a hard time reading the disc. Try cleaning the laser with a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol.
 
If you've tested and it's not doing that with other games but is in fact doing it with Gladius I would say that Flerbizky is right on track. The thing is physically messed up and needs to be exchanged.
