Whenever I made this account, I was excited. I first posted a three about the GT soundtrack location, and I got positive feedback. But after that I try to literally try to think of threads I could make but every time I make a new thread.... It gets shoved back in my throat by someone coming in and saying, sorry but my thread has been made by someone a week ago. That irritates me because as an American I follow by the 1st amendment stating that we have freedom of speech. Meaning I can post whatever my heart pleases. But these people that would come into my thread stating the "AUP" which I'm sure we all skip because it's just like the terms of use, no one reads them and we just get to what we want. I know I didn't read the "AUP" I just wanted to get to what I wanted, to be closer with my fellow racers and petrol heads. But to the people who say that using proper grammar is important to people can understand you..... Ummmm I'm sorry but I'm sure all the threads I've seen has had nothing but ENGLISH speakers. And yes I'm 17 so I do use texting abbreviations to make it easier to get to what I want to say. The biggest gripe I have with this site, is that all the people who have been here for god knows how long, all you do is go into the new threads and bash on the people who want to make new threads. This has made the site not fun at all, and in my opinion, and it drives people away from this site, like it has done to me. So I say this as..... Screw the AUP let's all get along. It may sound like and excuse but I've been a severe bully victim for my whole 17 yrs of life and I can't take all the negative comments I get. I'm tired of the disrespect, tired of the constant "threads the same as a guy who made one a couple weeks ago gtfo." I'm tired of it all. This is not what I wanted to see happen, cuz I thought this was a good site for us to hang and be cool, but in my eyes, I was wrong.

Sorry, freedom of speech comes with responsibility. In fact, you'll soon learn that all freedoms come with responsibility.

Nobody's going to be a "fellow" anything if the rules permitted cursing each other out (I'm not saying this was your problem). We allow a lot, but we don't allow everything, simply to keep an orderly place on the internet. So if you can't be bothered to care about the rules, why should the other members and staff care about you in return?

Reading is literally fundamental to an internet forum. Don't take the discussion too seriously, but if you can't take an honest suggestion, then you're probably not mature enough to handle discussion with other people. We, the staff, do not tolerate others who think this is some sort of free-for-all playground, which it is not...and we deal with those members in kind.

I'd much rather have everyone speaking proper English and know how to search for existing threads and miss out on the people who can't be bothered to follow rules, than throw the rules out the window to keep them around.

GTPlanet Mods close those type of threads because they are basically spam, whats the point of talking about the exact same topics on two different threads when you can actively contribute to one? "txtspeak" is frowned upon because more people know basic english than "txtspeak".

Also, the 1st Amendmant of America won't get you anywhere on the global internet.

I feel sorry for you, and i hope that you can stay and contribute with us but you have to abide to rules. Everything has some form of rules, why should GTPlanet be an exception?
 
Coffee - start your own site. That type of 'freedom' is frowned upon here.
 
i wouldnt let these sorts of things get you down, or take them this seriously, but then again maybe im wrong, this is the internet, your gonna find people you like, and people you hate, but id atleast give this site another shot, its great once you can sink your teeth into it
 
Being in a forum is never about creating numerous threads, you need to understand that.

Surely, a 17 year old such as yourself would know that, right? (I'm 14, just so you know.)

Also, I've been to a few of your threads such as "What you want to expect from GT6"

And "The last car on the Planet"

Both of which have been locked, due to your attitude, and because there are already threads out there which basically have the same purpose.

Creating duplicates of other threads, is looked down upon, since it'll just clog up the forums, giving other users difficulty in searching.

You say we bash on you, when we're actually just showing you the way. You, on the other hand, bash on us.

Also, what does you leaving this site have to do with GT5? It's in the wrong section.

If you want to make pointless threads, which will eventually get locked, due to your reprehensable antics, then maybe GTPlanet isn't a place for you.

Absolute Freedom of speech is probably the worst thing you can give to someone on the internet. Just imagine if this website ended up like Youtube's comments section :scared:

PS this is a privately owned and operated forum, you are not entitled to post anything if the admin and moderators don't like it.
 
I find it hilarious when people pull the 1st amendment card on the Internet. If you can't even be bothered to read and follow the rules, then I don't see how you expect people to treat you with respect.

What's something you would desperately want in GT6 that GT5 didn't offer? Like different game modes, music, tracks, cars, or customization features.
