I know there are car threads and track threads. Mine is both.
4 track groups.
1. Rally
1. Tahiti
2. Tahiti Maze
3. Smokey Mountain
4. Swiss Alps
5. Small Dirt Oval
6. Large Dirt oval with straights
7. Large Dirt oval which is round rather than with straights
8. Similar to Australia in Colin Mcrae 1 for the PC - red dusty dirt where the car slides across the top rather than digging in. Racing can be described as very quick and out of control.
9. Similar to Greece in Colin Mcrase 1 - dusty gravel similar to above
10. Tarmac track similar to first arcade track on Colin Mcrae 2.
11. Track similar to real special stages ie 2 cars and track crosses over.
12. ditto ie 2 special stages.
2. Oval
1. Bristol (nascar track) (or unlicensed 0.5 mile, steep bank)
2. Richmond (irl) (0.75 mile)
3. Milwaukee (cart) (or 1 mile, relatively flat)
4. Gateway (irl) (or 1 mile, relatively steep)
5. Super Speedway
6. Lausitz (look here) I love it.
7. Phoenix (irl) (unique shape)
8. Nazareth (irl) (unique shape)
9. Miami (irl) (squareish)
10. Michigan (irl) (2 mile)
11. Talladega (nascar) (2.5 mile)
12. Test Track
3. Gran Turismo Tracks ie all GT3 tracks except Monaco and Laguna plus returns of the old favorites from GT2 and 1.
4. Open wheel tracks
1. Monaco
2. Laguna
3. A1 ring (F1 track)
4. Estorial (old F1 and currently MotoGP)
5. Nelson Piquet (old F1 and currently MotoGP)
6. Mexico (old F1 and currently Cart)
7. Spa (F1 track until 2002 future unknown)
8. Burke Lakefront Airport - Cleveland (CART)
9. Long Beach (CART)
10. Paul Ricard (old F1)
11. Adelaide GP circuit (old F1)
12. Brands Hatch
I have tried to use tracks that may be easy to get the license for. So A1 ring is the only current F1 tracks I have included (because I like it). There do not appear to be any CART games around at the moment but IRL may be a problem as codemasters is bringing out a game.
A lot of the tracks can be found below.
MotoGP
irl tracks
cart tracks
nascar tracks
It would be good to have the following cars added (even if unlicensed like the F1 cars in GT3):
Midgets
Speedcars
Sprintcars
Sports Sedans (road cars designed for speedway)
Cart
IRL
Nascar
