My DIY Cockpit Solution

Though id share my DIY solution for my racing cockpit, I needed something that i could pack away and also needs to be able to transport from the back room of the house where the PC is to the Lounge where the consoles are.

So i made two platforms that are on wheels, i still need to work out a quick method that will allow me to join the two together to make it more stable so to not push the wheel away under vigorous breaking.

I'm still waiting for some Ferrari stickers to pimp it up a little.

The seat is also the perfect height to use as an office chair when the steering wheel is put away.

Very nice. Maybe switch out the wheels with ones that lock the wheels in place so it doesn't roll. If your looking for some Ferrari stuff, you cant get 3D badged that you can put in the center of your G27 wheel.

I like it! You could use a couple simple hook and loop locks to hold the two together while racing.

Cheers, yeah i'm thinking about how to quickly join the two, on the PC it's not an issue as the wheel base pushes up against the back of my table and i found the seat wont really roll while sitting in it.

Have made a small mod to the wheelbase by putting a block under the wheel stand to raise the height and angle.
