I made this yesterday and had no replays so I just did two laps on three tracks and then cut the footage together. I used the Aston Martin DB7 (wanted to use a British car
) with all mods except any engine performance upgrades - so the car was at stock power. I slapped on a pair of simulation tires because they're meant to be good and steered using my good old dualshock 2
.
The drifts aren't all that long as I didn't really play about with the settings properly, I just dropped all the suspension values to the lowest settings and added some front braking pressure and went and did my laps.
I'm not really a drifter but I wanted to play about with Ulead Mediastudio Pro so I put this video together as it's more interesting to watch than my Smokey Mountain video, also the music is more bearable
.
All criticisms are welcomed, how to hold a drift for longer, car settings, advice on approaching a drift etc. I went for months without playing my PS2 so my driving is still a little edgy at times so do take that into consideration, that and the fact that I'm a grip racer
.
Anyway here's the video, hope you like it:
DB7 Drifting (3.40MB)
It's in Windows Media 9 format so most people should be able to play it. Also after it's buffered for a few seconds you should be able to stream it comfortably if you have a 256k connection or above.
Hope you like the video, and please tell me what you think so that I can improve my future videos
.
p.s. the music was recorded from an FM station which I listen to so that's what the talking is
.
