My car has Never crossed over so well in any gear from low to hi maps. This was my first solo dyno session i highly recommend them ( any dyno shop ).. .. put your ego to the side lol i did. now im ready for my up coming events.

i was not shooting for big power at all.... never has been my goal. the highest i have dynoed to date is 204hp :/

What's the resolution of your fuel maps? If you're having trouble crossin over, then it's either boost control or fuel control, right?

Not too shabby... but, c'mon... aren't you aching to see a nice big "3" or "4" followed y two more digits on your sheet? :D

na im not... ... i can easily get those numbers... just don't care for them. i just needed to base line these injectors for my event this Saturday.. ill go back and tune for power next week.. 250 will be good.... power is not everything.... unless you are a drag racer.

this is my daily and i race a lot. keeping it like this keeps repair cost down and maintenance down.

i don't have any problem crossing over... its just that if you don't tune for accel you will have slight issues. also when you are tuning for high and low maps, they have to be able to go from hi to low without missing a beat... if so you will have dead space

Agreed on power... if it can't get to the ground, it's useless... 250 would be well within the capabilities of your block (assuming it's an SR20, hell, even 300 or 400 on a daily driver is liveable... except for the amount of gasoline, clutches and tires that'd go through...)

Oh well... as long as it's not leaning out, that's fine... that's why I love my piggyback... so much easier to map... ;)

Nice to see you are happy with it, I personally am priveleged to have a good friend with a dyno shop so I get a lot of roller time when I want and it is always good (I have a stand alone).

The key really is to build the car to the specs you want then spend time with the tune going through each map, load, rev points and getting everything as desired, problem is cost with many shops is high :(

That ensures they car will perform as good as it can while being safe, then you can just enjoy 👍

assuming it's an SR20,

Doesn't sound like a SR20 to me.

its a KA-T bro... i cant stand the SR for multiple reasons.. and with a great tune, many KA's are seeing 450whp with stock internals

You know, contrary to what you see in Hollywood, cars don't need BGM. Next time, engine only, please...

other than that, it's looking, sounding, and running good!

HAHAHAH bro.... music was set way low. i dont like music either.. but people just will not view a regular run.

im sorry i produce dvd's so im use to taking the masses into consideration..

man Im not going to sleep tonight.. Auto-x school tomorrow about 20+ runs... sigh

ps

I HATE HOLLYWOOD LOL

thanks for checking it out dude..

No problem. You've got a good 240, there.

IMO your car sounds like a diesel truck at low RPM, but other than that you've got a pretty sweet ride. :D

HHAHAH how ironic.... its a diesel turbo... the turbo is from a Dodge Ram.. fully boosted at 3200rpms awesome bro..

ps

i drive a 300 C daily at work... i like them

Is running a turbo like that common where you come from?

Hahahaha... that is seriously bent... and it makes max boost at 3200 at 8 psi? Perfect for autocrossing... bit on the big side for what you need, but better safe than sorry, right? I wonder how low the rpms on that turbo are compared to your regular gasser turbo.

Can't stand an SR? Take that back! I've had two! I understand, though... sometimes you've just got to do something different. Good luck on the track. Don't blow anything up. ;)

hahhaha.... i cant really "hate" the sr lol i have way to many buddies with it. yes the turbo looks like it would be hard to spool, the KA with it's large exhaust ports puts out a good amount of CFM's. When im driving at low rpms it sounds just like a truck on the highway lol. this turbo is also the smaller version of the H1C's. as far as compressor maps, its between a GT30r and GT35r

Is running a turbo like that common where you come from?

its very common world wide with guys who build their own kits very cheap yet very high quality alternative to the higher end better know turbos... honda guys use them a lot and 4 banger mustang guys have been using them for decades.
