My e-brake (works on all wheels)

This is the e-brake i just finished a few minutes ago. Before that i was using the DS3's joystick as e-brake but it was hard to reach the little joystick or a button when i needed it fastly while drifting. So I quickly decided to build a real e-brake like it's used in many real drift cars and this is the result:

Yes, my shift stick is a srewdriver I killed the stock one :dopey:

That looks awesome, but what is the actual handbreak lever made out of?

I can see an epic Youtube moment coming with parts and controllers being torpedoed through screens/windows etc. Keep the cam handy dude. 👍

Have 2 years old g25 and a 2,5 years old nokia 5800 :D
 
Not bad, but if youre going to make a thread might as well explain how to do it. Looks cool though, I modded mine using a computer joystick yesterday, improvised e-brakes FTW.

I honestly mean no offense but when I saw the "custom" handbrake I loled pretty hard. I salute your creativity. :lol:

:sly: actually that's the way most of GT5 drifters build it. Take your DS3, something that looks like an e-brake stick and mount everthing with zipties. Done!

Just looking at it I could imagine myself getting a bit overzealous and ripping it straight off the table with parts flying everywhere. Think of it this way: "HULK USE E-BRAKE!" 💡

Check out my e-brake thread on this forum, one of those may be easier to make quickly. Anything is better than just hitting the button.
 
That's sick dude. Also didn't know that you used wheel :O
 
I barely fixed the original shifter and used some black tape to make the e-brake mount looking alittle bit better. Pictures and a video will follow at the weekend.
 
This is better than the ironing board wheel mounts.
 
Switch gear > Pull handbrake instead = Win
