My first car bought it from a main dealer a week after passing my test in October 2016 so my first drive in a car on my own was driving it back from Southampton to Glasgow with a couple of stop offs on the way.
The car was the perfect spec, 2014 model with Maxidot, Amusden + , Red Seats, Underseat storage, Multi function steering wheel, Rear Parking sensors,ESP and Climate Control.
Dealer also fitted Cruise Control, Arm Rest and rubber mats all round
Car started off looking like this.
From picking it up it was drove straight to Funk Motorsport in London and the fogs/drls were tinted yellow with Lamin-X.
Then After that to Awesome GTi in Manchester who put it on the Rolling Road and to my surprise it didn't make the claimed 103bhp and 184 lb fts, It actually made 114.5bhp and 201.8 lbs ft, While there i also picked up a 25mm H&R Rear Anti Roll bar, Audi R8 oil cap , Porsche Coolant cap and TT Jacking points.
Then when i got it home i fitted a red TDi badge that i had ordered for the front
Next was one of my favourite modifications Nitrogen Gas Bonnet Struts, Keep forgetting others don't have them so i've found a few i've opened the bonnet on my mates montes or vRS's and let them go expecting them to rise up like mine but they just slam back down lol.
Then went off to visit a mate to get some pictures with his fabia
Then the following day it was off to take part in the Glasgow to Monte Carlo Rally.
Then also a quick stop off here on the way back
Next fitted was the Autolight kit with a Mk1 Yeti switch so all the lights stay skoda green
Next was Briskoda Number plate holders
when fitting the fronts i found that the dealer ignored the 4 pre drilled holes and thought they would make 2 more
Thankfully they used the holes for the back but the plastic bungs couldn't be screwed in again so had to replace those
Also some Skoda tyre caps
Next thing was the popular sunglasses holder mod
Then Team Heko Wind Deflectors
Next was the big thing for me, New wheels, after long consideration i decided on MK1 Octavia vRS Spiders which i'm so glad i went with as they really set off the car.
Then the bad luck started
First 2 lots of punctures
Dead Battery
And what i thought was a fuel leak turned out to be the air con leaking
Also wrapped the stereo surround
Then started the LED Conversation
Started off with number plates from Halfords
DRLs Twenty20's
Autobeam Interior kit
Autobeam LED fog lights with Halfords 6k Sidelights
Autobeam LED Red Tail lights (only LEDs in the car that bring up a bulb error) give it a nice deep red look.
Autobeam chrome indicators (these aren't led but will be changed to led in the future as autobeam have just brought out ones that dont need resistors)
Techmac LED Headlights with Lush lightings adaptors
Also have currently on the way Autobeam LED red brake lights, white reverse light , Red rear fog light.
And the most recent H&R 40mm Lowering Springs
LED reverse light and Red LED rear fog
Also the red led brake lights but not much difference, right is led left is the standard
Then went for a chat with the guys at Ecotune in glasgow and then this happened
Since i want to keep an oem look i swapped out the standard intake pipe for the vRS one which is twice as wide and fitted an K&N filter in the airbox.
tried to get it strapped down but turns out my car was too low and they had to take the undertray off
When the car was dyno'd when i bought it at Awesome GTi after 2 tanks of vpower and 32,000 miles it made 115bhp and 202 ft lbs.
With the intake and filter and 25k of miles of vpower now sitting at 56k it made 119bhp and 220 ft lbs not bad considering it should be 103bhp and 184ft lbs
And so it began hopes were for 140bhp
Ecotune stage 1 came back with 150.1bhp and 253 ft lbs  more than happy with that but also the driveability is amazing the pick up with the throttle response (electronic) is so much better previously in 5th at 50-60 cruising on the motorway then you put your foot down to over take it used to pause then go now its just instant and in 3rd and 4th it just keeps going and going.
Got the vents in the car wrapped to match the Nav display that was done a couple of months back done professionally as you can tell.
Sunstrip fitted as well to help promote a company that has help me out kitting the car out alot lately which they sent me
Also some heat tape from Funk Motorsport which as you can tell is shockingly bad so was done by me  trying to keep heat out of the intake
Crail was great, looking at the boost logs ecotune have mapped in boost by gear so in 1st gear its making 17.5 - 18psi and from 2nd onwards the full 22.5psi.
Planning it at 3k there was a small amount of wheelspin then the car just hooked and was gone then it just seemed to be a case of everyone chasing my down, car goes to 91mph in 3rd and as i was trapping 84-86mph i just revved it out, did try going into 4th to keep it in the power/torque band but just lost so much time on the gear change.
When it was wet first gear was just a no go, it was a case of get it moving in 1st then straight to 2nd then whoever got traction first pretty much won. couple of times it did aquaplane at 75-80mph which was "interesting"
Against a stage 2+ ecoboost making 190-200bhp

first semi eco run up to knockhill and back on saturday with the stage 1 managed to return this 8)
Was the paul walker memorial day so ditch my car on a club stand while i helped out a mate in his impreza on track for SLS
After umming and ahhing about going on track i spoke to the girls in the knockhill office and they said i could go out for the last session and only charged me the difference which was £15 so cant really complain and with it being wet i prefered that as it puts less strain on the car and tyres with it being a daily road car and not having alot of money to through at it (min wage ftw)
Car still great but you can feel the difference since the alignment was done with the new springs so need to get my mate to put his set up back on it Oil temp got up to 124 degrees this time where as at the trackscotland day it only got up to 116 so looks like the remap does make it run hotter although you cant fit oil coolers to these without sandwich plates.
Trying sideways down duffus at 60mph didn't work out as the esp ruined it as you can't fully turn it off.

although your best mate phoning you mid cool down lap doesn't help

Very happy with how it looks and drives just now, In the future it will get Bilstien Shocks, CR177 turbo with an S3 intercooler Darkside Hardpipe kit and hopefully get over the 200bhp mark.
