My first drift.. replay?

Well, seeing as how I have no capture device... I'll give you the details play by play.. so I entered the corner.. :dopey:

No, okay, what I do have is an AR MaxDrive. So I'm uploading a replay of me at Deep Forest just messing around abit with my MR2 GT-S on T2 tires and about 430 HP...

Not trying to be to flashy, just playing around while keeping speed. And yes, I know grip is faster, well, that or the mythical 4 wheel drift... 💡 yeah, with a DS2 as well... so yeah, be nice...

Anyhow, anyone here with a MaxD wanna take a look...

So it would seem. And to think I got a MaxDrive for replays to support my WRS times :indiff:
 
Very kind of you. It would be better if I had a capture device... but I'm cheap... and my comp is on the verge of death... so I'm not inclined to put more money in it..

You just converting it to sharkport... or a .avi or .wmv?

Either way, anything that lets people bash on me :D

I'm having a hard time placing your style though. It seemed like you would do one turn with more of an exhibition style drift, and then the following turn would have much less angle and be more in-line with a speed drift, and so-on and so-forth. I dont know if this is just your style, or not. But to me, as i watched it, it felt a bit inconsistent.

It depended on the corners a bit. I'll usually drift more into the first part of a complex corner so I can setup for a faster exit from the next part of it. The result is a wider drift angle initially. Since that is my race setup, I can't just mash the gas at any speed and drift sideways, the car is setup to go the way its pointed if the gas is applied correctly :sly:

I'll get sims slapped on something and fiddle with that a bit :D
 
Try some simulation tires and drifting at around 60mph. heh nice video but I'm not entirely sure about your technique either. Exhibition drift then speed and so on. But still, good job.

Not a bad start at all. Keep it up. just true to do speed or exhibition. When you mix the two, it can be quite confusion fro the viewer.
 
kinda gripy on the 2 and 3 turn but other then that good thing your on the team! lol

I've done lots on sim tires, though I am outta practice... MR cars are crazy on sims... CRAZY

BTW... your name reminds me of some bizzarre MR2... cause it looks like a Toyota code...
J for an engine
W for an MR2
3 for Third Gen
1 for some different version of the third...

Cause the normal code for the MR-S is... ZZW30

Maybe I am just insane :S

MR is the best, its actually fast while still drifting. Of course, I'm a fanboy of MR, so I might be biased :D. I'll do a replay of my standard race approach... that would be interesting to have reviewed by the big wigs of big wigdom...
