I've been drifting for a while with the controller. I just bought a DFP two weeks. Been praciting with that now. I still need to work on throttle control some more. I could use some tips for holding my drifts longer. Any feedback would be great.

The last segment I got bored, I used an Altezza with a totally stock suspension and max HP (around 455) and max weight reduction with sim tires. I just wanted to view the physics and body roll

That pretty much sums up every drift vid I've seen posted over the past two years.

Gold star for effort though.

The RS200 is a drift (and grip) monster in the right hands (boombexus).

A tip for drifting it: Less e-brake. More balance.
Also, see if you can find a drift suspension tuning guide.
All it needs is full customize suspension and sim tires, plus some dope rims, and you're set.

I don't use the e-brake at all. And I don't use braking to initiate the drifts either. I do use sim tires though, and only sim tires on all the cars. Thanks for the feedback though. I do use drift suspension settings for the cars, I just chose not to use it on the rs200 because I just wanted to check out the body roll on the replay.

I liked it. Some drifts were better than others, the S13 looked pretty good for instance, a few of the Z Concept drifts could've been smoother perhaps, but that car can be a bit uncooperative sometimes I guess, at least I've never found some good settings for it.

I hear ya'. :) My Mustang has basically the same setup just so it can 'tilt' into the turns.

The song is Haruta Kanata by Asian Kung-Fu Generation. It was one of the theme songs for the Naruto anime haha. Thanks for the comments guys.

nice vid for a first vid...however...

i saw that your car couldn't hold some of the longer turns...

i guess just one suggestion i might add is to work on better throttle control with smoother counter-steering techniques.

well, if you practice enough, you'll get it 👍

I thought your drifts were good, not great. You could work more on angles, and lengths of your drifts...Just a suggestion. You should tap on you gas on longer turns to get more angles and distance in drifts.

thanks for the tip, I'll practice more with that in mind, cause I ususally do the gas tapping on short turns, never tried on long turns.

Yeah looks like you could get a bit more speed into those drifts and a bit more smooother. Funny though I can't even drift but I judge other peoples drifting vids.
