Ok...so I did all the events, got all the cars, and am now able to join intermidiate and advance class in online mode. But what did those rank change in the overall BAAADDD drivers out there.....NOTHING !!!

YESSS this is my very first rant. The only time I had a clean head to head in a race, he was wearing the GTP tag...THE ONLY TIME !!!!

other than that, if I'm trying to pass someone in a corner...what hapens...I get side ramed off teh track...

when i break to take a corner...I get bumped from behind...and please understand I can except a little bump here and there from the back (nothing gay or anything) because I know not everyone attacks the apex the same way...But I'm talking HUGE freaking bumps...like if the guy didn't break at all...seriouly WTF ???
if you are going to play like a jack ass, PLAY GRID !! at least you<ll have the visual pleasure of watching the victime disintegrate in to curb...
the only way to get a cleane online race , is to stay away from other drivers... WHY RACE THEN ???

we need guns in GT5...BIG guns...like a freaking rack of Hydras to shoot down does idiots...

the crazy thing is that THEY STAND OUT ON THE FIRST FREAKING TURN (THE FIRST !!!)
you know the idiot who just "happens" to loose controle of his car in a pretty odd manner and then turn invisible...(you all know the type I"m talking about)

I'm not even going to complain about the penalties because houw can you write an equasion that will takeinto concideration the actions of a complete IDIOT !!
can't blame PD when they penalties aren't always on par...it's just not "idiot proof"

I'm putting a hold on online events for now...
it's worthless if you ask me.

the time trail is challenging a bit off (almost) when you have 100 peeps that have the same 1'10" but like 100 different fractions of a second..it"s pretty hard to stand out unless you're Micheal Shumakher...
But I'm not complaining...I'm starting to accept my ranks.

that was my rant for tonight...

please feel free to let loose all my clean GTP_<your name> drivers out there
we all see you ;)

a little bump here and there from the back (nothing gay or anything)

So that's why other cars tend to gravitate towards mine! :trouble: ;)

I remember the first time I tried online mode in standard physics. I expected my GT-R to transform into the G-6155 Interceptor and fill the punters with a hail of 20 mm bullets. Try the expert events if you haven't already. It weeds out more of the punters.

Pretty much it's fun when there's no bumpers but that rarely happens so I never play online anymore does anyone know if the patch with damage & custom rooms is coming anytime soon

Damage and private rooms are supposed to be in a major update for Autumn. So far as online and idiots are concerned, just grind your teeth and deal with it man. The best way to deal with them, is to beat them.

actually...it was an expert race that got me all pissed off... went in there with high expectations..and in the first corner (I was first btw) the guy just rams me off that track...

I hope when that damage stuff kicks in...you actually have to PAY to fix your car

Why would you want to pay for damage that some tool done to your car

I think he'd spend more than I would on dmg repair. Besides, if GT5's physics are correct, if a dude rams you from behind...you<ll get a dent on your rear bumber... at worse, your trunk my get dented..or you might have some rear shock absorber issues..(worse case)..But he's in deep *** because his radiator, motor, and motor cage is screwed. You might need to pit in (worse case cenario) whereas he's out of the race. 👍

It happens on every track.

EDIT: Regardless of Intermediate or Pro.

@ RainMan884. If you get punted at 150 mph, your car will be as much of a write off as the punters car who rammed you.

and one last not...the quick tune gizmo is a joke to any real GT fan.
I mean let's say I'm driving teh Amuse GT1.. the car (in real life) already has a carbon fiber frame. and as it turns out, in quicktune, you can reduce it's weight even more LOL. any driver with comom sense will just fit R3 tires lower the weight to teh max and put traction control to 5.... you can take curbs on 4-5th gear when normally you should take them on third gear.

But hey..that's just my opinion...

PD really need to take a deep look at their Online gaming. it's too forgiving and arcade like.

The Amuse S2000 GT1 has carbon fibre hood, boot and wide body kit. Everything else is standard shell. Traction control on 5!!! no wonder your losing speed in turns.

Well if you put R3 Tires on the Amuse and drop the weight as low as possible, without increasing engine power output, Then why would you need traction control?:odd: That would slow you down as you dont have a traction problem. I never use traction, as I find it slows you down regardless of the situation. I alos believe its better to go for a balanced setup rather than say reducing all weight or going for all tyres. You got to find the balance of all settings that best works for your car.
I respect your opinion, but I do believe that a balanced setup would result in Faster times, besides theres no such thing as 'one settings fits all', So to speak. There has to be tuning done for each track, thats why its possible to have settings of A,B & C, So you can set your car up for Racing on multiple tracks. But ultimately its up to each indervidual Driver how they want to Setup and Race there Car...I'm cool with that....:D:tup:
Cheers fellas;)

I felt like racing suzuka...and if you are drining in an intermediate event, you have had significant amount of GT wheel time and should drive better than a NFS fanboy.

I think it's just a save game transfer away to get into intermediate and expert level events.

Evading punters is a whole game in itself. Practise makes perfect. I've gotten to the stage where anyone who tries to punt or ram me comes off worse about two thirds of the time.

This is good advice... exactly what I wanted to say... lol 👍👍

its standard physics. you can complete the A class in standard and unlock intermediate. you can very well be a NFS fanboy and compete in any event with standard physics. as you can in pro mode too, with the right tires.

100% spot on 👍

The First part of your post I 100% agree with, but try avoiding them on the new Suzuka 750pp Pro event, it's a crash and smash.

First ever online was about a month and a bit ago when I only got the game... and PS3

Tried it out and well did Ok but had quite a bit of punters (I had no clue what were punters at the time lol)

Certain tracks you can avoid punters to a good extent, but on Suzuka it's virtually impossible to avoid punters because of the narrow esses and hair-pins. I am considering shelving GT5p until PD actually do something about these bumper car physics. Out of 20 races on Suzuka Pro 750, i'm lucky if I can get 5 reasonably clean races.

I know Ive only like raced 6 times today at Suz 750 and all had problems with the first corners...

After the first few laps the rest is pure catch up... (problem for me is that I push it too much and well spin off heh...) :guilty:

I know, I sometimes get a bit to heavy on the gas and overrun turns aswell

Gah! Im so angry like you guys... I go in expert events and they can't race for CRAP. I hate punters
