Hi, this is my first post in the GTPforum, and I thought I should start in this section of the forum, as I have enjoyed the photomaking facilities of GT4 very much, and would like to share some of my images. I am not saying that I am the ultimate photo-guru or anything, I merely would like to share some of the images I have made which I like. I don't mind any critique, but please don't slag them off immediately.
As you can see I have not really used the photomode part of GT4 where there are just still scenes, as I prefer to capture the action and speed of racing. Although I do like the scenes that can be used, I just prefer the capabilities of doing photos using replays and the photo race mode.
I realise that there are many, but that is merely because I just could not decide which to put on. I had narrowed it down to these, and hope nobody minds that I have put all of these up. I did not see anywhere where it said I was limited to a certain amount of images. I just hope I'm not bringing imageshack down.

Well first off, Welcome to GTP! For your first shots those are really great! I like Bentley Speed 8 and the Battle shots with the C12 and Corvette. The only thing I suggest for some is to brighten them just a tad and add some saturation or contrast. Those 3 modifications will work wonders on your photos. The framing of your photos is really nice too. The only other thing is please check this box ->

when uploading to imageshack, it takes the ugly bar out and makes your gallery look a whole lot nicer. Other than those minor things, great job keep it up! If you have some spare time please drop by my gallery and leave a comment.

Thanks for your feedback. I was wondering, what do you think of that shot I have of the Lotuses on the highspeed track? I really like that one. Its the 3rd one from the top. BTW, your gallery is really great. You have some wonderful shots, and great variety there.

First, third, eight and last are my favorites. Great job, seeing it's your first! As Streetz said, remove the toolbar and you're ready to go.
Oh, and check my gallery as a return in favor too :D

Haha, funny you ask me. That's one of my favorites, just forgot to mention it in my reply. That one is great man, It reminds me of when I used to live in Arizona. When you'd wake up fairly early in the morning that's what it would look like outside, a blend of cold blue and overall nice mood. I know it's wierd I related it to living in Arizona but that picture works wonders for me :D. I love the staggered cars on the bank it looks really good.

Hi FatPat5! I'm with you. I think the photomode aspect of GT4 is real cool. The imagination, creativity and style of the members of GTPlanet is fantastic. Two of your images are my favorites. The first, which looks to me like an historical photograph, like something I might have saw on the History Channel. lol And the last I can see receiving as a postcard from a friend, "Having a great time at the races! Wish you were here!" I posted a few pics in the "User Gallery" section. Let me know what you guys think. Keep up the good work! https://www.gtplanet.net/gallery/index.php?cat=104477

Thanks very much for your input guys. I love that 3rd picture for some reason. It just looks kind of real to me. I made that in that Lotus 1 lap battle thing in the Driving Missions mode. I won that by like 0. something, it was real close. But again thanks. I really like your galleries by the way: SS Racing, Rayquaza and StReeTz. You guys have some awesome pics.

Thanks! In the first 4 shots, I tried to capture the image as if a spectator or a professional photog were in that position. I've been to Sears Point (Infineon Raceway) a number of times in the 80's and 90's and I've been in those positions...I just wish I had good camera at the time!...lol. You know, when I look at your 3rd picture again, I can really feel the tension and pressure...Well sort of...lol. :)

Thanks very much. When you view it full size you can see its not as good quality, but when you look at it a little smaller (my resolution on this PC is only 1024) in IrfanViewer or some other image viewer where it is resized a little it looks much better.
