Good afternoon,

Finally saved enough to look at purchasing my first supercar (instead of blowing my cash on never ending 'tuning projects') :)

I've got about 250k but don't mind grinding for a little more if need be.

Would like something that will last, will be competitive online and that handles well OOTB.

So many to choose, long list of Ferrari's (love the look of the scuderia) Lambo, TVR, Lotus, Ford GT 40, Dodge Viper, Mc F1, Audi R8 etc etc.

If only GT5 had a 'test drive' mode. I've done arcade a few times to play with some cars but alot of what I'm looking to buy isn't featured online.

Any help on this would be great as I don't wanna waste my hard earned.

My first supercar was the Lamborghini Gallardo, which didn't disappoint me at all. It handles great! Not long after I bought the Ferrari 458, which I have used alot, but I think maybe I should have bought the Scuderia instead.

The Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro '09 is also a lot of fun - best handling i've experienced.

It's a never ending list:)

buy a Gallardo you'll use for Gallardo trophy and fully tuned can win the world championship...

I went for a scuderia, put a black carbon bonnet on it, a massive rear wing, all the bodywork available and black wheels. It looked mean, mean, mean!

Choosing one of the many Ferrari MRs will qualify you for a good deal of race series (MR, Ferrari, Italian). Purchasing the very solid 512BB will do all of that and qualify you for the Classic series.

Those common supercars (i.e ferra, lamob, chevrolet, dodge, ford gt) are a waste of money.
The TommyKaira ZZ-II '00 sometimes appears in the used car lot.
It's a Lv.15 car and only costs 60.000 Cr.
500 hp @ 1000 kg stock; you pretty much destroy any stock ferrari or lambo with it; tied with the Enzo.

But of course, it can take ages till it appears in the used car lot.

Agreed, the ZZII is awesome. Another car worth mentioning is the Amuse S2000 GT1 Turbo - it's much better than the Lambos!

hah we have the same taste :p
I was about to mention that you can aswell get the S2000 GT1 Turbo for 250k; it's a pretty amazing race car and noticeably better than the Super GT500 cars (GT-R, Skyline, NSX, Supra).

512BB is a very solid car on almost all tracks. It especially loves 'the sarthe'.

With a few mods it does become a little more twitchy, but I prefer the slight bias to over steer it has.

Buy now!

I saw the ZZII in the used car dealership for 59,000Cr, but I had to reach level 15 before it disappeared. I managed to level up and buy it in time, which was lucky. I agree that it can easily beat stock Ferarri's and Lambo's, but it even put the Enzo to shame in some of the races I competed in.

I went for the Dodge viper SRT10 tuned, its a beast, you can use it in loads of races and you can tune it further and make into a monster , over 700 horses, the Ferrari BB is a great car, looks fantastic and i love the handling.
Have to agree with the tommy Kaira ZZII, one of my fave cars from GT4, it is awesome, a giant killer. The Countach LP400 has shattering perfomance when tuned and handles real good, you win it in the Lambo event on professional, i used it in most the big races ( looks stunning in black :) ).

Tuscan Speed 6 with racing modifications. It is insanely fast, and has never let me, or B-spec Bob down. It destroys everything in it's path.

Gallardo is good because you can use it for several events. I personally think it understeers too much and didn't like it until I got the torque sensing diff for it.

My RM ZR1 is probably my fastest/best handling car besides my Toyota Minolta. You probably won't get as much use out of that car though.

If you got the veyron as a prize, that it to I believe it's Expert in GT Mode. Go to the Turbo race, and use it on the first of the two races. With the new 1.05 patch , you can have $50,400 in around 3min 30 secs. Great way to stock up. With this I bought the Corvette ZR-1, went to GT Auto and bought the race pack. Then I upgraded in the tuning area, IT IS A BEAST that can not only stop on a dime, you can pick what number of the year to stop on, LMAO, Just my 2 cents
. You will use it later on

If you go for the scuderia you will not be dissapointed, that thing handles like a dream and if you do want to test run it do the S licence event at Monza. That car destroys the others in it.

I almost went for the Murcielago SV, but decided it was time to fully upgrade and RM my ZR1, and oh boy am I glad that I did, fully loaded out it was well over 600k but I have a soft place in my heart for Corvettes.

I will be getting the Murcielago SV and fully tuning it next, after doing RM for my Elise, I remember the Murcielago SV killing my fully tuned RX7 and that is not a easy thing to do.

Amuse GT1 Turbo. It's insane how that car handles. And it "handles" the straight bits pretty well too. But it won't keep up with 800+hp cars on the straights.

my 1st supercar was the nissan gtr spec v owned so many races with it but it ifs mainly guna b used for hi end races "like the wind" get the mazda furai only lv 7 b spec lol its so easy and an awesum car to drive

Ferrari 458 Italia... it's eligble for quite a lot of events too.

Invest credits in it and it will easily win quite a lot of events right up until you meet the uber-racecars.
