A few weeks ago, I got a few free TVs so I would have 2 in my room, so my one friend can come over and he would bring his PS2 and we would iLink and play GT3.

The first TV i got, was the worst TV around..
It has these lines in it on certain channels, and on any games it would do this Light to Dark thing.

The next 2 TVs i got, One is perfect, the other I haven't bothered with.

My other friend and his brother had their TV taken out of their room (don't ask me why) and they decided they wanted to buy one from me.

$60 for the crappy TV and $80 for the good one.

They buy the crappy one.

Next day, they call me and say "We want the other one, this one is crap"
I say "Give me the $20 and I'll give you the other TV, just bring the other one back"

Them: "Uhh.. ok, Just one thing though.. you won't like it"
Me: "what is it?"
Them: "we already threw the other one out"
Me: "WHAT!?!?"

I haven't decided what to do. I think I'm going to keep the good TV..

WHY THE HELL DO YOU THROW SOMETHING LIKE THAT OUT!?

It's like buying something defective from the store and throwing it away because it didn't work.

Stupid idiots..

Oh well, Their loss ;)

Just tell 'em tough shit, that you're keeping the good one unless they find another TV to replace it.

Or you could beat them to death with their own shoes, but I don't think that'll solve anything.

Whoa! I just realised you have a friend. Thats amazing!!!

Retards!!! You never throw something out that works nomatter what.

even with my broken stuff, I either try my best to fix it or I take it totally apart and use the screws and the other parts, but we never throw out something like that...

Tell them to buy a $60 TV(or something else that's $60 for you and then if they give you the $20 then they could get the better TV. Or go all out and ask for something for $80 and then give them the TV. You shouldn't give them back their money, they threw out a working TV.

So, in essence, they pay you some $140+(if you charge them more that would be better)and it *should* all work if they don't screw it up.

if something doesnt work, i do what maz kid does, i keep all the screws and stuff. the rest usually ends up in little peices

MistaX: keep the good tv, your friends are dicks.

They probably really still have the other Television. They plan on getting both for a total price of $80, but I doubt you'll let that happen.

Original.

Seeing this thread, i'm sure no one was oblivious to the fact Mist would be ragged on...

That is, unless you don't understand the sentence i just wrote. :)
