My gamedata got lost!?!?!

I have reached 300.000+km on the distance, so I have put some hours in the game, but today everything got lost.

I started up gt5, as I usually do every day, but somehow the game fired up without my save file. The game started like I never played the game before, and since I have autosave on, it autosaved when entered the game. All my data got lost....

Guess there is no option to recover this since it was saved on my harddrive.
Anyone else experienced this?
 
I haven't. Here is a word of advise, save your save game data to a USB and do it daily so you don't lose your data.
 
Always, always regularly backup your game saves onto an external device! I haven't run into this problem personally.
