My goal's for GT4 are.....

Of course everyone knows the purpose of the game and that is to beat it but i want to enjoy it for a long time so My Goal is to get All Golds on all Licences,Beat All Endurance Races on 1st, Collect All cars......If any one has anymore cool goals to accomplish please post here.

My first goal is to buy the damn game and hopefully it will be this year.
After that I will want 100% complete, All gold license tests and have as many cars as possible on my game saves. I will also drive every car.

Why else do you play a GT game for, that's the major goal but I personally want to drive every single car availible on every track.
 
I don't particularly care about getting every car, finishing every race or getting all golds. My only goal is to enjoy myself, even if it means avoiding online play or not getting to race with half the cars.
 
uh.. hold a competitive level online? That's always fun.
 
Wish I could partake in the online fun but I have ****e Broadband (150K) and can't afford to subscribe to the PS2-Online thing either!

Other than that though... my goals are to have as much fun as possible...

I've just gone halves with a mate for Prologue and he's been playing it all weekend (Git!) I'm going to visit him on Wednesday for a night of beer and GT4P! Nice!

I therefore aim to have all the golds on Prologue before I get GT4.

When I get GT4 I think I'm gonna take my time playing it instead of my usual finish a championship, never race it again unless I complete game/need cash.

Attempted to play GT3 yesterday, but got bored straightaway, & the graphics in GT2 are unbearable. Damn I need GT4! :(
 
It's annoying that as game evolve we get used to this beautiful new level and find it hard to go back to the way it was, even if we know it's great fun, it just seems painful.

My goal for GT4 - hold my own against some of the best the world has to offer in OLR.

Complete that perfect lap of the Nurburgring in the fastest car the game has to offer. That'll be a pretty cool moment.
 
I think setting a fast lap round Nurburgring in a 3rd gen Mazda RX-7 Type R with no driving aids on is probably top of my list at the mo. But that could all change when the game comes out, and I find that there is some other cool feature that I never knew about.

I reckon the same damn thing.. nordschleife in a pretty looking thing, sliding sideways 80% of the time.. sounds fun...!!:D Reaching the no 1 spot on the total online ranking will be another goal, although pretty hard to achieve, I guess...:banghead:

ummm, PS2 online is free, just the cost of the network adapter and DSL, unless they make you pay for certain games, AKA FFXI. Xbox live is the one that you have to pay for, it's only like $100 per year.
 
Your ISP will charge for use too won't they? I know if I want to get my PS2 online NTL will charge me per month.
 
nope. that might've changed though, but even GTP's God Jordan didn't have 56K for a long while (dont know if he has it now)
 
My goal is to collect the coolest cars. I don't bother myself with the racing and 100% stuff. I am too lazy :)

To become a drift master with an M3, M5 and to take the joy of a e30 M3 through the ring.
 
My goal is to enjoy all the BMWs and all the other great cars the game has to offer.
And the second is to have every car in my favorite color(s) in the garage. (If garage space is not limited)
 
To test drive every car in Nurburgring as possible (after I finished the game).

Average time of say, 10 minutes on the ring for simplicity sake - it'll be different, and a lot slower or faster in other cars.

500 cars x 10 minutes x 10 laps = 50,000 minutes.
50,000 minutes / 60 = 834 hours. // Rounding up.
834 hours / 24 = 35 days.

Over a month of non stop racing... Not to mention the time to acquire all those cars. Now there's a challenge.

ISPs here at least do not charge for PS2 network use, simply on the data you download like any other normal connection. I fortunately have no dl limit.
 
The game hasn't come out yet and we're starting to set goals. :lol:
