My Great Weekend

Well, I'm heading off for a couple of days, to:
  1. Visit my parents
  2. Attend the British Grand Prix on qualifying and race days
  3. Experience Jonathan Palmer's Motorsport Sensation

    It's gonna be a pretty great weekend! I'll see you Tuesday.

    I'll have my laptop and digital camera with me, so if you stop by at giles-guthrie.com on Saturday and Sunday nights, there'll be pictures from Silverstone!

How are you getting to silverstone, are you going by car or hellicopter?

And that motorsports sensation sounds cool, what kind of cars do you get to drive?
Dont forget to remember me when your sitting in the stands at silverstone and im sitting on my arse at home watching it on telly ;)

We go by car. I'm a guest of a memebr of the British Racing Drivers' Club, so we get to go to their Clubhouse, and we get to park inside the track. Then after the racing's finished, a spot of dinner, and leave the track at 8/9pm, when everyone else has gone. It's all a bit civilised really!

last time i whent to the British GP was when i was 9. now im 15.

damn that was a long time ago.

i might be going to some hill climb thing at the weekend though but there not quite as powerfull as F1 cars :cry:
