so i spent nearly all my money on a Chaparral 2D Race Car (over 12 million Cr.) and decided i should grind all day to earn back the cash. I am no stranger to grinding and everything was working great. When i came back from school 8 hours later, I expected to have money to buy things. NO. WRONG. For some reason, my X2010 was stuck pulling a Tony Stewart against the wall.

Not cool. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them?

Yes, this happens to me often. What I did to fix this is take a penny and insert it between the joystick and the button closest to it(I'll post a pic later) and it doesn't happen anymore. :)

That sucks.:yuck:
This happened to me on various occasions. Very frustrating!
btw, you have to go to school for 8 hours? Ouch.:ouch:

im in high school. by the time i drove home and stuff it was 8 hours. school is 6 hours and 35 minutes haha

I've never been sitting there to see why it happens, but I'd say that happens to me about 50% of the time I set it up to grind.

This has been happing to me today as well, starting grinding last night, 12 hours later, found the X1 in the wall for 12 hours. Restarted race and again, well I checked the settings and had all the aids off, turned the aids back on and hasnt happened again.

So I guess I could of just said check and see if you aids off, that might be the problem

You are auto-grinding the 'Dream Car Championship' I presume, because its ten laps. When I started auto-grinding, I also did the same championship and my X1 was occasionally driving into the wall. After that I switched to grind 'Like The Wind' and the problem stopped. I don't know why but it stopped. Maybe because the number of laps are less, so you won't come in contact with the rest of the cars as much. Also maybe because the cars you're competing with are quicker so you wouldn't catch up to the backmarkers. So, I suggest you switch to 'Like The Wind' like I did. It also pays more credits per time.

This happened a few times to me, but I always caught it within 10 or 15 minutes of it happening and restarted. It usually happened because I would hit a car somewhere along the way, so I would get a new grid, let it go a few times and if it didn't crash those few times, chances are it wouldn't crash at all as long as the grid stayed the same.

So I set my X2010 to grind again while i was asleep and when i woke up 8 hours later the car was just moving at like a half a mile an hour along the bottom of the track. I was so confused as to why! I thought my controller might have ran out of batteries but it didnt. I pressed the PS button and the car took off.

Upon watching the replay, everything seems to be fin until I get to turn 3 and for some reason the car loses all throttle and slows down to a slow crawl. Why did this happen??

Edit:
looking in the UCD it looks like I this was the only race I did.

Perhaps the right analog stick isn't pointing precisely a little to the right. To avoid that, spend some time testing out.

And vibrations can be turned off too.

Once SONY ACTUALLY GETS PSN BACK UP & RUNNING AGAIN, we can all start makin some Serious $,$$$,$$$.......Yeaaaa 7 digits here we come...again.

I'm already making 20 million credits every 20 hours. I've already bought 3 X1's, buy the end of this month ill have most of the colored X1's.

I have the old controller; no vibration. Not really sure how it shut off in the middle of a race but can understand why it would be stuck on the inside wall.

You need to re-align the right analog stick by a teeny little bit. Test everything out before anything else. Aim for the perfect fit, not something good enough.

It's happened once before to me, and I found out after just 7 minutes, so nothing major lost =P
