For those that don't know, you can upload videos you record directly to YouTube. In this post I will explain the best way to do so.

1. Start up the game you want to record.
2. Go to where you want to start recording and double tap the share button to start recording.
3. Play and when you are done, press the share button and upload your video to YouTube.
4. Trim Video if necessary (If step 1 is completed this shouldn't be necessary)
5. Set the title and description, and tags
6. Upload!

Simples...!
I dont always know where to start the vid, but the rest is as I usually do.
It's been very well designed on the PS4 and much more convenient - which means people can upload more content more quickly :)

If you don't know where to start just upload when you finish doing something cool and trim it. It saves up to 15 minutes of gameplay

Actually, the above isn't true. If you direct load gameplay to youtube, you can only retrieve the last 15 minutes of footage to upload, regardless of your upload limit. On the other hand, if you stream your footage by way of Twitch (not sure about ustream), you can, if you act quickly enough, download your stream archived footage to upload to youtube by way of your PC without worrying about your footage being cut off.

Here is some footage that I captured playing Injustice as Nightwing. Note, this is starting at fight 5, so not all of his run was able to be captured:

Note how the video is only 15 minutes long

That is sort of my point. That was direct capture from my PS4 without any additional hardware or software. The PS4 is only capable of, preferring a better term here, DVRing the last 15 minutes of whatever game you just so happen to be playing. From that you could edit accordingly.

I never usually record more than 15 mins anyway
