My journey of drifting with G27

FYI I can drift in mostly arcade games
- Daytona USA ( the one that started drifting in my life )
- Forgot the name but that one have Akina Touge , Akagi Touge and I use AE86/Sylvia

So now in GT6, and I started with G27 from the day 1. Always reset the steering angle while in game ( 1+2 + O ) for 650 degree

What I can learn so far :

- very easy on throttle
- turn in before the entrance, imagine you want to slide the whole car..not powersliding the rear end
- turn the car using throttle with gentle steering angle
- I use mostly 2nd gear at 6.5k rpm

Well I'm still horrible with drifting, but I can get the hang of it.

My starting point

Autumm Ring MINI ( forward or reverse )..just aim the last series of corners..ignore the 1st and 2nd.....

Mazda 1985 FC
- CH tires
- racing brakes front: 3 rear: 10

Initial D is the game you're referring to - extremely arcadey and completely bonkers

Good luck on learning, Autumn Ring Mini is by far the easiest track to learn on in my opinion so you're on the right track.

You seem to have a basic grasp on the fundamental idea so you're on the right track, but I'd give this a watch so you can further understand these fundamentals.
