My lack of motivation...

For the past few weeks I've been working through Simulation mode, but now that I've gotten to the Professional Mode "specialy" cups. I've kinda procrastonated(sp?) completing them. Now that my PS2 is in for repairs, I guess I'll have some time to get excited again for GT3. Anybody else have problems like this?
 
nah, i havent had any probs with my ps2 at all... but i dont get as much use as u guys :)

By this I meant my PS2 is in for repairs so I might get motivated again. My question was whether or not anyone else had problems getting motivated to play GT3. Sorry for the confusion.
 
I did 2*100% but on the third time I got stuck at 60%, that was about half a year ago. Now I play it only occasionally like in the weekly race series sometimes. I'm out of motivation, probably get started again when GT4 comes out but I doubt I'll get a third 100% on gt3..
 
i had problems like that but it was just i started doing other things and playing other games i know it was stupid
 
In my second time through GT3, I had much fun with the beginner and amateur leagues. However, after completing those, the professional league races just felt too long. I'm having no desire to complete them at the moment. So yes, I'm having similar lack of motivation problems.
 
I don't think that I can complain of lack of motivation. I'm on my 4th time through GT3. This will be the 3rd time I get 100%. The first time I just did the Simulation mode.
 
Im always excited bout playing Gt3 because my ps2 is at my dads house and my stupid mum wont let me get a ps2 or my own tv untill I get a job and I cant be botherd getting a job yet!

Now that I am at 100% on GT3 I don't have much motivation to play it, but when I was playing to reach 100%, I was very motivated and determined. I don't play it much anymore.

Me too. Considering the interest I had for it, like 2 years ago. I couldnt stop playing it. But now, I have been doing everything really slow. Currently at 51.3% with all gold in licenses B to IA. But I do everything really slow.
 
my motivation has just been mover to a diferent game....

Just play a different game for awhile. Definately different genre. I haven't played GT3 for 2 months(blastphemy). I went back to my roots and played Final Fantasy Origins (I & II). 1987 all over.
 
why is your PS2 in the shop? If it is just because it is not reading discs right SOMETIMES you can fix it yourself just by taking the PS2 apart and then very gentle cleaning the lens with a dusting cloth or something.
 
Okay... you get a girl, tell her to tell you that she will not do you till you get 100%. You will only get done by her when you get 100%. Motivation idea for you

Yup I know what you mean. I'm at just over 75%, but I just can't be bothered to do those endurance races or pro league 20 lap a race championships. It's kind of start Polyphony Digital Cup - Go to bed - Cancel Polyphony Digital Cup - Start Polyphony Digital Cup......
 
I'm somewhere over 75%. I'll never complete the game and I don't really care. Some of the races just aren't fun to me.
 
I've been wanting to get started again on GT3 for awhile, but as soon as I even think of the Professional league it all fades away. Lately I've been doing only enduros.

Where do you live that you can't get a job at 14. I got my job when i was 14.


Back to the topic. GT3 just gets boring (like all the other games) It would be nice if the comp could really drive. Its just a matter of leave it be for a while or a long while... and when someone does something really really weird on the game(example: beating Formula GT in a car other than the R390.) Then your going to want to try it, it goes form there
 
every time i am not on the ps2 i tink... hey i wouldnt mind a go of gt3 right now.... then when i turn the ps2 on i play wrc2 instead. well i am having fun with it atm...
