My life got weird

Yes, My life got weird. It didn't happen all at once, it just kinda evolved into weirdness. I just realized it this morning. Yesterday was this. (click image for larger view)

Keep in mind, this is with a flash, it was actually much darker in there.

And the final clue that my life got weird, as I was shaving this morning, this was over my right shoulder.

I think it's kinda cute. The tiger really needs to go – it's really scary – but I wouldn't mind parrots living on my couch. BTW, do you ever have trouble with them chewing on electrical cables?
 
Boy, I was way off. I thought it was the tacky tiger couch that had finally made you think that your life just got wierd. :odd:
Tropical birds with razor sharp talons flying through the house seems more sane than that couch. ;)
 
Do the birds **** all over? Id love a bird but I cleanin up after it.
 
Doesn't the tiger scare the birds?

We had a stuffed tiger-shaped rocking horse for our kids, and it put The Fear into our cats. If a cat walked in the room and you nudged the tiger a bit so it rocked, they would go off like a cat hair grenade and fly out of the room.

Actually, no where near as much as you'd think, and the big guys give you a warning before they go. Yes, they're house trained for the most part.

I've lost a few controllers, having a cockatoo bite through a cable while I was playing. They've gone after cables, but this one was the worst:

As for living on a couch, a friend of ours does have a cockatoo living on their couch. He's quite friendly, but has devestated the couch.

ACtually, that's an awesome blanket. I trucked it all the way from The Ukraine. It's incredibly soft and comfortable. It also really helps in avoiding rug-burn. ;)

Nope, in fact our cat is paranoid of the birds. Of course, they're bigger than he is.

I have a small parakeet that ****s all over the place. I hate it. I don't even know its name.

He likes eating chicken skin, though.

We've fed the monsters just about everything. Lobster (hand them a whole leg, they love to crack it open), pork chops, chicken wings, french fries, Grilled cheese, shrimp, chicken nuggets, Steak, Peanut butter and celery, pasta, pork fried rice and so on.

My wife used to share her coffee with the Cockatoo. THen she found out it was quite hazardous.

I get the impression you don't like animals in general. Tim's the same – He has this really, really cute little dog that's like less than a foot long, but he doesn't particularly care for it, and he absolutely hates his other dog. On the other hand, I friggin' feed the forest out here…
 
Cute 'fortress' the cockatoos have there. :D
Parrots (and parakeets for that matter) are way too cool to be weird.

I'm guessing you keep their wings trimmed, right AO? The one in the shower doesn't seem to have them all that long.
 
Does your bird sing when he/she takes a shower?

Nice rug there. All you need now is to walk around the house wearing a bathrobe while holding a fishbowl sized brandy snifter full of cognac and have some Barry White playing in the background. :D

It was in pretty much the same situation for awhile. Then it died.
